MegaHirtz Computer Doctors - The History

Back in the summer of 2002, my brother Brian and I had this great idea to start a home-repair computer support business. We “strategized”, got a cell phone, made a flier and even went door-to-door distributed them in the neighborhood! The business never did work out, but it was more of a fun project than a hard attempt at starting a business. Ever since then, I have received requests from people I know, and even their referrals, for computer repairs, upgrades, tune-ups or to get rid of a pesky virus. I am usually a very accommodating and reasonable person when it comes to meeting your need to have a working computer so you can get on with your life. Although I have not since actively advertised it, I am still "on call" whenever someone needs me to take a look at any computer problem they may have.

In the past, I have helped people:

• decide what computer to buy
• reformat their hard drive and re-install Windows
• remove viruses
• remove spyware
• secure their computer or network against spyware/viruses
• backup data
• install hardware
• install wireless and cable networks
• hook up dial-up or broadband internet at home
• upgrade their computer
• optimize and speed up their computer
• train them how to use their computer
