The purpose of the German Poem Application is to help the student learn German poems more efficiently by facilitating understanding of the English translations more easily. To begin, select a poem from the left. Some of the words in the poem will be underlined and can therefore be clicked. Clicking on the words tests the student's knowledge through multiple choice quizes. After taking several quizes, line translations will be enabled. After even more quizes, a full English translation will be available for viewing. Abusing the line and full translation capability will not help you learn the poem. Instead, use this application to aid you in understanding the poem faster and more fully.
